My cousin, Phillip Reedy, and I attended the men's varsity basketball game at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4. The Panthers played Spalding at home, and the game was very intense. You could tell by the amount of tensity on the floor that these two schools are rivals. The final score was 67-50; so even though the score of the game wasn't very close, the game was still very hostile environment. Phil and I went to support two of the varsity players who live on our floor, Elmo Smith and Andrew Scott. Andrew actually ended up getting hurt in this game, so he didn't play as much as he would have liked to. Luckily, Andrew's injury wasn't a major one and he has fully returned to playing. I really enjoyed the event, and I attend as many home basketball games as I can.
